I
was going to list all my comic books here
with a small picture of each cover, then I
looked at my collection and realised it would
be madness. The pictures on the right and
above are from a contest Archie comics ran
in

the late 90's. You had to take a photo with your
Archie comics - so this is only of my Archie comics
back then, imagine my entire collection and it grows
by at least 2 issues every week!
Anyway, I collect MAD Magazines, Archie Comics,
Asterix and Obelix, Harvey, Garfield, Cat Woman
and manga (Japanese) comics. So far in manga I have
Ghost in the Shell, Ranma 1/2, Kodocha, Peach Girl,
Marmalade Boy and Azumanga Daioh. Basically, I enjoy
any comic with good artwork and good humour.
Guess this all has to do with my dad buying Harvey
comics like Casper, Richie Rich and Wendy when I
was a kid. He learned to read English from them
and continued to read them for years afterwards.
These days I can only buy Archie comics and MAD
Magazines from our local newsagent. Anything else
I want I order from Reader's
Den in Cape Town, South Africa. Their service
has always been excellent!
